It's been a while since our last update, so I wanted to share what we've been working on over the past seven months.
AI Model Upgrades
The headline: Visionati now supports GPT-5 and Claude Sonnet 4.5.
Our core engine has been upgraded to work with the latest vision AI models. We've also fixed some bugs in our Clarifai integration and modernized the AWS Rekognition SDK.
Website Overhaul
The marketing site got a complete overhaul with 37 commits worth of changes.
New pages:
- Four industry-specific pages covering SaaS, Media & Entertainment, eCommerce, and Real Estate
- Dedicated pages for the Browser Extension and Shopify integration
- A testimonials section featuring feedback from actual users
Under the hood:
- Removed jQuery entirely and rewrote everything in vanilla JavaScript - went from 123KB down to 3.4KB
- Migrated the build system from Grunt to Eleventy with Brotli compression
- Converted all images to WebP for faster page loads
- Fixed the mobile hamburger menu (it wasn't rendering properly on some devices)
- Improved keyboard navigation and screen reader support
Design updates:
- New mega-menu navigation
- Refreshed the Contact and Pricing pages
- Reorganized footer with clearer sections
API Fixes
On the backend, we fixed a bug in description indexing and pushed through the usual round of dependency updates and security patches.
What's Next
Still on the roadmap: refreshing the homepage hero section and updating the Image/Video Analysis pages.
